چکیده

Multilateral well drilling technology has recently assisted the industry in improving borehole contact area and reducing operation time, while maintaining a competitive cost. The most advanced multilateral method is Fishbone (FbD). This been utilized several hydrocarbon fields worldwide, resulting high recovery enhancement reduced carbon emissions from drilling. FbD involves branches laterals can be considered as an alternative to hydraulic fracturing increase stimulated reservoir volume. However, expected productivity of applying one field another vary due various challenges such design, lithology, accessibility. Another challenge lack existing analytical models effect each parameter on cumulative production, interaction between them. In this paper, empirical were modified for dry gas reservoir. model showed higher accuracy with respect model. It was also compared model, which proved its accuracy. Finally, machine learning algorithms developed predict productivity, close results both models.

SPE 139118 Production Analysis and Well Performance Forecasting of Tight Gas and Shale Gas Wells

Estimation of reserves in tight gas and shale gas reservoirs is problematic due to the low to ultra-low permeability characteristics of these reservoir systems. The sole application of conventional decline curve analysis methodologies often yields erroneous reserve estimates. Therefore, the use of theoretically-based production analysis techniques has become a must to analyze well performance a...
